A cold day

I had forgotten what it feels like to have cold days. It is a beautiful day outside and nice and sunny. So looking out the window, one would think that yeah, shorts no problem. Go outside and the cold hits you. It is still only 3 degrees, sorry plus 3 degrees. I better start learning the Finnish tradition of temperature watching....

Roald is well prepared for the cold.

In Finland

We came to Finland in July for the summer holidays. We liked it so much that we decided to move there. I arrived on the 1/9. Dom, Max and Felix arrive next week. It has been pretty chaotic at both ends. Dom and the boys have been packing up the house in Australia whilst I have been setting up the house in Finland. It will be nice to all be together again.

The house we have rented in beautiful. It is right next to the sea. We have sea views from the kitchen and the boys room. It is a three story house with a sauna and room for a pony. Our neigbours have apple, pear and plum trees and they all have lots of fruit hanging over our side of the fence. Yummy.

The house is big, so lots of room for visitors!

This morning was pretty cold, 3 degrees. But the house was warm!!

Here are some pictures.
