It was quite the rain we had. 70mm in about an hour. Our house a bit flooded, but others were considerably worse off. Lucky Anita was here with her Girl Scout skills, so that we were able to tie the henhouse down to stop it floating down the creek. The chickens were evacuated into the cubby house earlier on.

Fiander Street was flooded. The owners of this house had to have most of their stuff replaced. Including their car which you can see in the driveway.



The water really flowed in the creek.



The cement blocks you see in this photo are now gone. They floated away along with the log walls Anne and I built....
