Very hot day. Mercury hit 40 degrees today. Lucky Colin and Eve, who live on our street, invited us over for a swim in their pool. The boys spent 5 hours in the water and were pretty waterlogged at the end. Forecast is for a hot week. New year's is supposed to be 41 degrees. I think there will be alot of drunk people in the city.

We are staying at home on New Year's. Too many pets to worry about with the heat.






Viivu was a bit worried about Greenpeace coming to push her into the water, so beat them to it.

Christmas Eve was a success. Lots of people, lots of food and alcohol and lots of presents. It was wonderful to finally be able to have it outside. It is always a bit crowded when we have it inside.
